The cave in which they get lost is haunted by several ghosts and skeletons. Betty and Bimbo are too frightened to stay in the cave so they return home. Betty Boop is one of the most prominent animated sex symbols. She was the first cartoon character to represent a real sexual woman. Everything about her, even her dressing and mannerisms, were designed to bring out as much sexuality as possible. In many of her cartoons, the male characters are always trying to get a peek of her while she is changing or doing anything else.
